04Installation guide - Replacing a drive belt
General guidance for this part type - always follow your device manual- Screwdriver for the base plate
- A new belt feels tight - that is normal. It seats after a few minutes of running.
- 1Switch the device off and unplug it (or remove the battery) before starting.
- 2Remove the base plate to expose the brush roll and belt.
- 3Lift the brush roll out and slip the old belt off the motor spindle.
- 4Loop the new belt over the motor spindle, then stretch it onto the brush roll.
- 5Refit the brush roll, rotate it by hand to center the belt, and close the plate.
This is general guidance for the part type, not a model-specific procedure. If the part does not fit without force, stop and recheck compatibility.
